I graduated from Longwood University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Printmaking and Book Arts, and a minor in Art History. I live in Winchester, Virginia with my family and beloved corgi, Sheeby. I am currently employed at Cattail Run Hand Bookbindery, where I administer huge doses of tender-loving care to worn-out old books. And make some new ones too. In my spare time I can be found riding one of my many bikes, hanging out in Old Town Winchester, cooking, entering my art into shows, consuming unhealthy amounts of coffee, exploring the great outdoors, making things, or hatching crazy road trip-schemes in the style of Neal Cassady. I like to read a lot too.
As far as fashion is concerned, I live a pretty active life, and I would like to look unique while doing it. I hate it when people wear boring clothing because they fear that they “can’t pull off” less typical color, designs, patterns, etc.. It is also untrue that looking awesome has to cost a lot of money! These are some of the ideologies (just two among many) that I hope to dispel while working with the lovely ladies of est1839.
